As a Life Coach, I will guide you on a journey that is creative, non-judgmental, and fun so you can explore who you long to be. My coaching style is fluid and intuitive—drawing upon decades of experience. Using tools such as brainstorming, voice dialogue, nature-based soul work, and many creative exercises, you will begin to step beyond your edge of comfort and discover what is holding you back. Traveler, your footprints are the only road, nothing else. Traveler, there is no road; you make your own path as you walk. As you walk, you make your own road, and when you look back you see the path you will never travel again.

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a creative collaboration that will help you to finally trust your inherent wisdom. I will be an ally beside you to:

  • Untether the thoughts that hold you back.

  • Guide you through the dark places of frustration, sadness, anger, and judgments so you can learn from their deeper messages.

  • Map out a landscape of where your next steps will take you.

  • Help you identify what excites you the most and propel you into action.

Through the partnership of coaching, I will help you to reconnect with your inner wisdom so you can find clarity, direction, and a deeper understanding of the many selves of your psyche. I intuitively meet you where you are and draw upon a wide range of techniques, including brainstorming, voice dialogue, and creative exercises, to help you develop strategies for taking the actions that will move you toward your best life.

I offer hourly one-on-one sessions.

If you are not in the Baltimore, MD vicinity to meet in person, I coach either over the phone or through Skype.

After each session, I email a personalized write up summarizing the details we discussed along with any designated action items. Where applicable, I include links and extra information that pertain to the topics that we covered to provide further insights.

I am also available for support between sessions through emailing and phone calls.

What can private coaching do for you?

Life coaching can help you find grace and wisdom in your life; find balance among your many selves; and dig into the roots of what holds you back from stepping fully into your life.

Our “selves” (mind, body, soul) long to belong—to be who we truly are and to find happiness. However, modern life, with all of its responsibilities, expectations, and events separate us from our inner nature and wisdom. You may feel stuck, lost in the minutiae of life, and unable to make decisions. You may feel restless, out of synch, and not quite certain of who you really are or how to travel your own path. But the great truth is only you truly know what is best for you. The wisdom to make creative choices is already held within your “selves.”

I work intuitively with each client by not only using my life coach training, but also my training in Voice Dialogue.

Voice Dialogue intervenes in that dynamic space that holds your potential for transformation. My training in this therapeutic technique has given many of my clients the ability to make new choices free from the influence of their old, default voices that used to hold them back.

Cool Intervention #7: Voice Dialogue (in Psychology Today)

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/in-therapy/201001/cool-intervention-7-voice-dialogue

The Voice Dialogue experience was unlike anything I have ever done in any kind of one-on-one coaching or counseling, etc. It stands by itself as a uniquely helpful process.

I am noticing a new calmness and a different approach to daily problems, mistakes, dilemmas, etc. These kinds of things typically result in a cacophony of negative voices and thoughts usually that lead me down dead ends. The Voice Dialogue experience created a kind of separation, a new place that gives me a chance to thoughtfully recognize myself as separate from the “voice.” Because I recognize this space, I can take a moment to dial down most negative voices - not just the one that was interviewed in our dialogue. I feel like I found a part of myself in a healthy way. As you’ve said, the object is not to eliminate the voices, just recognize them, acknowledge them and put them in perspective. Anyway, it doesn’t feel like I have uncovered something bad and pathological, just something that is a natural part of me, but not the entire me.

I had no idea of what to expect, but I trusted in the process and the results have been beyond my expectations. The dialogue has also enabled me to see for the first time, just how this voice has been a kind of protector through most of my life.

Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom
